  • Intensive Cleaning for refurb!

    Hello all,

I've just purchased two M&R performers which have been a little neglected in the aesthetic department.
I'm a big fan of 'clean press, happy press'

However these have had a good 10 years of grease and lint build up to form a solif yellowish coating (after scraping off the paint remains true blue).

Does anyone have any advice for chemicals to remove this and bring the press back to life? Could i have at it with a degreaser and steel wool?

Please see pictures attached... apologies for the nightmares that'll follow what you can't unsee...

Cheers Drake, I'll be sure to give that a try. I've been using WD40 specialist degreaser but it's damn expensive!
