Sorry for the delay... The Lock Off Prox is the sensor that looks at the fork which locks the carousel in. It is mounted on the right side of the fork. It can be a square or round sensor. When the fork is retracted, the light on the prox should be lit. If it is not, place the tip of a screwdriver in front of it to see if it lights, make aujustment if need. If the light is on, Go into “test” screen on the display. Scroll down to Lock Off Prox , it should show on. If it doesn’t , the signal from the prox is not sending a signal to the computer. Check the wiring or replace the prox.
It could also be that the prox is not turning off when the fork moves away and locks the carousel in. In this case , replace the prox.

What's unusual about it is that when I began a day or two ago, it got hot rapidly as ordinary and got to temperature without issues yet about early afternoon, I began noticing something hip so I went to look at it. I saw the temp dropped to around 310 and was dropping gradually, despite the fact that we had a fire going. The alert did not go off either. We turned it off for lunch and began it again yet now have its issue getting to 300 and no more.

        Alex,
I'm assuming you're talking about a problem with your gas dryer? Forward your phone number, have the model and serial numbers available to help troubleshoot your dryer.

Hi Guys, I currently have an electric conveyer dryer and will hopefully be upgrading next year. I would love to move to a gas dryer. I’m not sure the new location will have natural gas. I am aware that natural gas is a lot cheaper than LP… I have looked at the specs for the Heatwave, Mini Sprint, and the Sprint-2000-48…but I want some real world numbers. Any of you have one of these dryers using LP? If so, would you be willing to share how much LP they are actually using in the real world? Any input would be helpful.
