  • Squeegee Pressure help needed and questions about M&R service.

    Hello,

We have two Diamondback S presses. One is 8 months old and the other is less than a month old. I hear everyone on here recommending psi pressure on the squeegee of 30 to 35psi. We have no success clearing screens with black, much less white with pressure that low.

We use the second central off contact position and a squeegee angle not quite strait up and down, but very little angle. Probably displays a 10 on the markings. What am I missing?

We also have switched to 65/90/65 durometer, because several people including our tech have told us that the rubber that M&R ships is not great and most shops replace it immediately.

On a side note we got our new press and it was supposed to come with the new color display and we got the old black and white and the powers that be have told my sales rep, I am stuck with the old product. I had heard such great things about M&R service. Are things being shaken up over there? It's not how I would handle a customer that has spent over a 100k in 8 months, but times are tight I guess.

Any help on the pressure would be appreciated.

    Best,
    Jon

The monitor was just changed to color and if your press was ordered after the change you should of received the color monitor. If your press was ordered before the change it would be shipped with the monochromatic system. Send me your contact info or contact me directly and I will be happy to discuss this as well as squeegee pressure setting with you.
