  • there a way to operate Cayenne quartz via a foot pedal?

Looking to use a Cayenne Flash on the manual press for sampling - is it possible to use a foot pedal for this? Or would i need to run to some control unit also?

Thanks Tony - is there any way to make this work with an older Cayenne? Circa 2008

I believe it can be done. You would need to get the foot switch option for the Cayenne flash. Leave the toggle in PLC mode. Plug the foot switch into the common port. Basically the signal is a loop circuit. The relay (automatic press) closes the loop, and the flash activates. It would be the same for the foot-switch, but I still advise you to call our service department at 800-483-8765 to help you thru setup. I don’t know if a standard foot peddle will work, I think the foot-switch option for Cayenne is wired differently, so please call our service department.
