Looking for some help on an issue with our sportsman.
We have an 10c sportsman(I think a 2005). We've started getting a clunk while in the middle of running.
Will happen randomly. It will index, flood, print, then drop hard(as if you were to hit the emergency stop), then go back to indexing/printing normally.
Happens a few times a day.

There is a Timken bearing on the center shaft of the press. The carousel comes down to rest on it in order to index. If there is too much grease on the bottom of the carousel, it lifts the race off the top of the bearing and sits cockeyed , then slips down….. Could be the clink you hear. There should be a retaining bracket to keep the race in place . a lot of times the bracket breaks and allows this race to move.If you raise the pallets and leave them up, do you eventually hear a clang or ping noise? ( the race falling away from the carousel) Items 2, 3, 4, in the diagram.(see attachment)

You will be better served talking to our service department at 800-483-8765 .

      Thanks for the response Tony.
Everything seems normal on those parts.
If the lift valve is going bad...could this also be the problem?
Seems like we are getting a slightly longer air release then normal before it drops really hard...then it just goes about printing normally again.
