Thanks so much tony! Unfortunately we are having indicator flashes but don't have a way to read them - the manual doesnt say anything about how to read them. We have 1 head that floods only and does not do the print stroke (head 4), head 6 will not flood or print. Indicator Lights 1 & 4 are flashing . Thank you for your time

You can check the input signal from the head proximity switch by activating the emergency stop switch, then activate the proximity switch on the problem head with a metal object such as a screwdriver tip. Go on and off the prox switch, it should light up when the prox is activated. When the switch is activated you should also see a light on the computer activate indicating the signal is getting to the computer. If you see a light on the prox but no light on the computer, it is most likely a bad proximity switch and it would need to be replaced.

A 2nd check which could be made is to go to the base of the press and find the pneumatic valve assembly for the stroke of the heads. Each valve has a manual override ( black ring with an opaque center) you can active the valve manually and it should move the print carriage forward. Release the override and the carriage should return to its original position.

If this information does not match with your machine, please contact our service department.800-483-8765 and provide the serial number of your press.
